Lab Kit & Tuition

Fees to attend Franklin Cosmetology Institute are as follows:

• A one-time lab and kit fee of $1750.00 (for the two-year program) due at enrollment June 27th, 2025

        Tuition is paid by GAVC. See your counselor to begin a great career!

ATTENTION MINOOKA STUDENTS! Cosmetology is offered through GAVC. See your guidance counselor to sign up!

Fees to attend Franklin Cosmetology Institute are as follows:

• A one-time lab and kit fee of $1750.00 (for the two-year program) and 1st year tuition of $950.00, due at enrollment June 27th, 2025. Total due at enrollment $2700.00
• Additional tuition for the second year is $950.00. Due before classes start the second year.

*There is a non-refundable enrollment fee for all incoming students of $100.00

 *There are absolutely no payment plans for first year High School students available at this time. 

 *If you plan to graduate high school early, you will be responsible for tuition as a private student. Be advised, your tuition will no longer be paid by your high school/career center.

• Additional tuition for the second year is $1350.00 due before classes start the second year. This is a fantastic opportunity! See your counselor!

*NOTE: High school first year seniors will need to be advised of tuition responsibility for the second year after high school graduation, since your full or partial tuition will no longer be covered by your career center.

After you have met the required 1500 clock hours of attendance and successfully completed the required curriculum, you will be qualified to take the Illinois State Cosmetology Licensing Exam!

Note: Lab and kit fee is non refundable once kit is opened and labeled. This applies to any student enrolled. NSF personal checks will result in a $50.00 service charge and or, the student dropped from the program for non payment of fees.
